Yoga and You

“You cannot always control what goes outside but you can always control what goes inside”

Yoga is defines as a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. In simple words, Yoga simply connects our mind to our soul. Yoga not only makes us physically fit but it also empowers us internally. As we all know that Yoga helps in fat loss, muscle development, improves our digestion system, and build flexibility, leading to a more lean-looking physique.

But the question arises here is how Yoga impacts our mind and soul? How it empowers us internally? If these questions ever arises in your mind before then the only solution to find the answer to it is – try practicing Yoga. That’s it. When you start practicing yoga in a regular basis then your brain releases all sorts of chemicals that not only help you relax but also lower your stress and anxiety levels including, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins. In doing so, it controls how much fear, stress, anxiety or nervousness you’ll feel. Yoga incorporates both meditation and breathing that can help improve a person’s mental well-being. It has been found that regular Yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration.

In conclusion, do yoga and stay healthy not only physically but also internally.
