Child labour is act where the children are forced to take up work at an age they need to study and enjoy the phase of innocence. Child Labour leads to the loss of childhood and escalates the exploitation of children in various forms. Not all the work done by children are considered as child labour . Children’s or adolescents’ participation in work that does not affect their health and personal development or interfere with their schooling, is generally regarded as something positive. The work can be helping their parents in household work or any part time job etc.
In India many children are forced to work in industries to get paid and to support their families financially. The main reason behind the many child labour is the poverty. There are many laws that are made for the child labour but those laws are not strictly followed in India. Due to their poverty and to support their families many children abandon their studies. To avoid child labour strict actions are to be taken.
