Life feels a lot better when we smile and feel good, there are various genres to entertain us from our hectic life of work or studies, but there is one genre which leaves an everlasting impact and that feels so good genre where all the age of audience can watch and enjoy at any time.

5. Wake up Sid
This film is directed by Ayaan Mukherjee, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Konkona Ken Sharma, Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak and Rahul Khanna. It tells the story of a pampered, carefree college student (Sid), who comes from a wealthy family in Mumbai and is not at all serious about his life. Unless he meets a girl (Aisha) who is an aspiring writer from Kolkata, which helps Sid to take his life seriously and pursue his dream.
This film has a realistic story with fresh elements into it, performances by the lead actors are done very naturally. The characters in the films are very relatable especially the character of Sid played by Ranbir Kapoor, where every 20’s guy can feel his character.
4. Jab We Met
This film is directed by Imtiaz Ali, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. It tells the story of a depressed young businessman (Aditya Kashyap) who aimlessly boards the train and meets a vibrant Punjabi girl (Geet Dhillon) who changes his course of events. The carefree attitude of Geet towards her life helps depressed Aditya to give one more chance to live.
This film has a simple storyline with outstanding chemistry between the leads, it gives us loads of emotions and many memorable scenes which melts our hearts. There are many things to learn from the character of Geet and one of my favourite things to learn from her is to be your favourite.
3. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
This film is directed by Ayaan Mukherjee, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin. The story is between the four friends, Naina played by Deepika Padukone who is a nerdy introverted student who tops her class, Bunny played by Ranbir Kapoor who is a charmer and wants to travel the whole world, Avinash Arora played by Aditya Roy Kapoor who is a happy go lucky guys with a flirtatious nature, Aditi Mehra Khanna played by Kalki Koechlin who is a free-spirited girl who secretly has feelings for Avinash. The film starts with a flashback from Naina when these four friends go on a trip to Manali and makes cherishing memories.
This film showcase the modern take on romance and relationships with excellent chemistry and performance between the four leads actors, this film teaches us a lot about life especially to cease the moments in Life instead of regretting over it.
2. Zindagi na Milegi Dobaara
This film is directed by Zoya Akhtar, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin. This film is about the three childhood friends, Arjun played by Hrithik Roshan, Kabir played by Abhay Deol, and Imran played by Farhan Akhtar, who reunite for a three-week road trip. They set off to Spain for a bachelor party and meet Laila played by Katrina Kaif, who falls in love with Arjun and helps him overcome his addiction to work. Kabir and his fiancée Natasha played by Kalki Koechlin experience little misunderstandings, while Imran wishes to meet his biological father played by Naseeruddin Shah, an artist. During their trip, each friend chooses a dangerous activity for the group to partake in.
Personally, for me, this film is one of my all-time favourite films, Story which is written with sophisticated humour and a memorable soundtrack. All the lead actors gave their one of the best performances, this film teaches us many valuable lessons one of my favourite lessons is to overcome your fears so that we won’t miss the magic in our lives.

This Film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, featuring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Omi Vaidya. This film showcase the life of engineering students in India. It also draws our attention towards the flawed education system, friendship, sacrificing passion for money. This film is the epitome of entertainment with valuable content and a well-executed screenplay. All the actors delivered a solid performance and also this film has various lessons especially to the youth. My favourite lessons are to Follow your passion and instead of just focusing on achievements, learn focus on Knowledge.
